Behavioral Interviews attempt to ferret out information from you that will illustrate to the company (the interviewer) that based upon past (specific) experience and how you handled yourself, you would be a good fit for the position.
They are attempting to evaluate your past behavior under certain circumstances and conditions to see if it matches what they are looking for.
In so doing, they have no more to go on than what you tell them.
Which means, if you master a few scenarios to offer as answers to their probing questions, you'll be giving them what they want to hear. It will be in the form of a story.
Some argue that corporate America doesn't hire the best person for the job anymore. They hire the best story-tellers.
